Amanda Seales formerly Amanda Diva was born on the 1st of July 1981, in Los Angeles California. Amanda is a Comedian and DJ. The move to Orlando in the age of 8, she attended Dr. Phillips High School before going to SUNY Purchase for undergrad then receiving her master's in African American studies with a specialization in hip-hop from Columbia University. She began her career on the now cult famous Nickelodeon show My Brother and Me 1994 playing the character Deonne later becoming widely known to the public as a VJ Amanda Diva the face of hip-hop on MTV2 Sucker Free Sundays. Amanda Seales, a former spoken-word poet, recording artist, and spoken word poet in 2011 she changed her name to Amanda Diva to Amanda Seales. She owns DivaWorks Inc., a production company that she uses to perform and produce smart comedy for the stage and on television.
